Zanac

Does Zanac run on R36S?

Yes. Famicom Disk System games are rated Perfect on the R36S (RK3326): they generally run at full speed.

Full-speed on all R36 models. Requires the FDS BIOS, and multi-side games prompt you to swap disk sides mid-play, exactly as the original did.

Made for a 4:3 TV, so it fills the 3.5-inch screen of the R36S, R36 Pro and R36H. On the 4-inch square screen (R36S Plus, R36 Max, R36S Ultra) it shows with bars at the top and bottom.

Ratings are estimates for the whole Famicom Disk System library on the RK3326 chip, not a test of this one title. Compare R36 models

💾About the Famicom Disk System

The 1986 Disk System added rewritable disks and an extra sound channel to the Famicom, and it is where The Legend of Zelda, Metroid and Castlevania first appeared. It never left Japan.
