Star Trek - The Motion Picture

Does Star Trek - The Motion Picture run on R36S?

Yes. Vectrex games are rated Perfect on the R36S (RK3326): they generally run at full speed.

Full-speed on all R36 models. Emulators can draw the original screen overlays, which several games effectively require to be readable.

Made for a 4:3 TV, so it fills the 3.5-inch screen of the R36S, R36 Pro and R36H. On the 4-inch square screen (R36S Plus, R36 Max, R36S Ultra) it shows with bars at the top and bottom.

Ratings are estimates for the whole Vectrex library on the RK3326 chip, not a test of this one title. Compare R36 models

🕹️About the Vectrex

The 1982 Vectrex is the only home console with its own built-in vector monitor, drawing crisp glowing lines instead of pixels. Games shipped with plastic screen overlays to add colour, and the whole library fits in a handful of megabytes.
