Hacker

Does Hacker run on R36S?

Yes. MSX2 games are rated Perfect on the R36S (RK3326): they generally run at full speed.

Full-speed on all R36 models. Needs MSX2 system ROMs; disk-based titles may require swapping disk images mid-game.

Made for a 4:3 TV, so it fills the 3.5-inch screen of the R36S, R36 Pro and R36H. On the 4-inch square screen (R36S Plus, R36 Max, R36S Ultra) it shows with bars at the top and bottom.

Ratings are estimates for the whole MSX2 library on the RK3326 chip, not a test of this one title. Compare R36 models

🖥️About the MSX2

The 1985 MSX2 revision added a far more capable video chip and more memory, and it is where the standard produced its best-looking work — Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake, Aleste and the Konami arcade ports.
