Ghost Pilots

Does Ghost Pilots run on R36S?

Usually. Neo Geo CD games are rated Playable on the R36S (RK3326): many titles run well, some have slowdowns.

Games run at full speed, but the Neo Geo CD loaded slowly on real hardware and emulation reproduces that faithfully — expect waits between rounds. Requires the Neo Geo CD BIOS. Where a title also exists as a cartridge ROM, the cartridge version plays better.

Made for a 4:3 TV, so it fills the 3.5-inch screen of the R36S, R36 Pro and R36H. On the 4-inch square screen (R36S Plus, R36 Max, R36S Ultra) it shows with bars at the top and bottom.

Ratings are estimates for the whole Neo Geo CD library on the RK3326 chip, not a test of this one title. Compare R36 models

🔥About the Neo Geo CD

SNK's 1994 CD console offered the Neo Geo arcade library at a fraction of the cartridge price, with arranged CD soundtracks. The trade-off was loading: the cartridge originals streamed instantly, the CD version did not.
