Japan-only release
Sega's first home console launched in Japan on the same day as the Famicom in 1983 and was comprehensively outsold. Its hardware became the basis for the Master System, so the two libraries are closely related.
Full-speed on all R36 models โ it is the least demanding Sega system supported.
The R36 handheld family runs SG-1000 titles with perfect compatibility out of the box.
